Quentin Tarantino is one of the most famous and recognizable directors out there. From early movies like Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown to his most recent effort, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, there’s no doubt who made each of these movies. Tarantino has long maintained that he wants to retire before his work starts to feel outdated. He says, “I just don’t want to be an old-man filmmaker, I want to stop at a certain point” (via The Hollywood Reporter). With that in mind, he revealed that his upcoming project, The Film Critic, will supposedly be his last.
