YSL codefendant Yak Gotti was reportedly stabbed in Fulton County Jail on Sunday.
He reportedly got into a physical confrontation with another inmate, but his injuries were not too severe, and the Young Thug affiliate, real name Deamonte Kendrick, was in court yesterday for jury deliberations.
“This is an active investigation to determine the aggressor in this incident and if charges will be pending,” the sheriff’s office said.
I spoke to Deamonte last night, and while he sounded tired I expect him to make a full recovery. I expect to be able to see him in court today and will know more then.
Please keep Deamonte in your prayers, along with all those housed in our Fulton county jails. https://t.co/JKKLSSedTo

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened during a physical altercation with another inmate at the South Annex in Union City, where both men were being housed.
“I spoke to Deamonte last night, and while he sounded tired I expect him to make a full recovery. I expect to be able to see him in court today and will know more then,” his attorney, Doug Weinstein wrote on X. “Please keep Deamonte in your prayers, along with all those housed in our Fulton county jails.”
Prosecutors claim Thugger’s YSL (Young Slime Life) is a criminal street gang responsible for considerable crimes. The group has been hit with a RICO.
