Ray J is opening up about a frightening health scare that left him hospitalized.
The singer and reality star revealed in a recent Instagram video that his heart is currently functioning at just 25% after he was treated for severe pneumonia and chest pain.
“My heart’s only beating like 25%, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, then everything will be all right,” he told fans. “So thank you for all your prayers.”
Ray J shared that he is now back home and focused on recovery while staying optimistic about the future.
Along with the update, he also teased new projects tied to his Tronix Network, which recently partnered with Zeus. “Big announcements are on the way. Tronix Network is back in full effect,” he said.
This is not the first time Ray J has battled a serious illness. In 2021, he was also hospitalized with pneumonia and later said the experience nearly cost him his life.
Despite the challenges, Ray J thanked supporters for standing by him during the ordeal and said he plans to take things one day at a time. “I just gotta stay focused,” he added. “Everything’s gonna be okay.”
