Ray J is weighing in on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ upcoming trial and he says he believes Diddy will beat his charges and soon be a free man.
“Puffy ’bout to get out too, on the dead homies, n—a,” Ray J says in a clip circulating online.
According to Ray J, the charges against Diddy are “nonsense.”
“Puffy getting out. All that s–t they’re trying to charge that n—a for is nonsense, bro. He did something bad that we all seen and that shit’s unacceptable, but that’s not what the charges are for. The charges are weak, and it’s not funny and it’s not okay.”

Prosecutors allege that Diddy “relied on the employees, resources, and influence of the multi-faceted business empire that he led and controlled—creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in, and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
After Diddy was first arrested and charged, Ray J seemed critical of the disgraced music mogul.
“Everybody messes up, but we can’t be cool after that,” he said on Club Shay Shay, referring to the 2016 hotel surveillance video of Diddy beating his then-girlfriend Cassie. “It’s unforgiveable, it’s too much. Never being able to be around us and our world ’cause we don’t condone that is definitely a fact.”
