‘Refuse Is Taking Over Abuja, You Must Avert Public Health Crisis Now’ – Tinubu’s Aide Tells Wike

The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi, has urged the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to avert an impending health crisis in the nation’s capital.

Naijaonpoint reports that Ajayi, in a post via X on Friday, described the waste management and disposal in Abuja as ‘Matter of Particular Concern’.

Tinubu’s aide noted that waste management and collection in Abuja requires urgent fixing, stressing that refuse is taking over the city.

While commending Wike for his work in expanding road infrastructure and restarting many abandoned road projects and bridges, the presidential aide said the Minister must avert a public health crisis following the heaps of refuse taking over Abuja.
