Nigerian singer Jaywon has weighed in on the drama surrounding Regina Daniels’ marriage to businessman Ned Nwoko.
Naijaonpoint reports that in a post on his Instagram story, Jaywon addressed the broader issues of marriage, wealth, and personal decisions.
The This Year crooner warned that choices such as marrying for money, becoming a second wife, or staying in abusive relationships come with consequences.
He emphasized that individuals must take responsibility for the outcomes of their decisions.
He wrote: “DO WHAT YOU WANT. MARRY FOR MONEY, BE A SECOND WIFE, STAY WITH AN ABUSER
IT’S YOUR LIFE. BUT DON’T ACT SURPRISED WHEN THE CONSEQUENCES ARRIVE. CHOICES HAVE COSTS, AND YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURS.”
Meanwhile, Nigerian politician, Prince Kpokpogri, has criticised those who are publicly celebrating the marital issues between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
In a post on Instagram, Kpokpogri described the behaviour as “unfortunate,” lamenting that many Nigerians take pleasure in spreading negative news, particularly about the private lives of public figures.
Kpokpogri recalled his own highly publicised fallout with actress Tonto Dikeh, noting that people similarly rejoiced over their crisis.
He said both of them have since reconciled and moved on.
The politician said the same behaviour is now being directed at the Nwoko household.
