Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ parents are in Abuja to secure the release of their son, Sammy West.
Kemi Filani reported earlier this week that the upcoming singer was allegedly arrested by his sister’s husband, Ned Nwoko, in Lagos and taken to Abuja.
In a video posted online by actress Doris Ogala, Rita Daniels and her estranged husband were captured with her as they plan the release of Sammy West. Doris assured the public that Sammy would be released.

During the heat of her son’s arrest, Rita Daniels had blasted Ned Nwoko, being ungrateful and using Daniels for fame. She said the politician married Regina because he wanted someone with a high star to boost his fallen star. She promised him that he would go down if he thinks he can bite the finger that fed him.
Kemi Filani reported on Monday night that Daniels had cried out to the public after Ned allegedly arrested her brother. She said Ned wants her to return to him, and return to rehab. Regina noted how she was trying to be the bigger person, as she told him to leave her family alone.
In another post, she said her brother had been beaten like a criminal by the Nigerian police. She questioned what the violent arrest was for. Regina noted that Ned thinks he has power, connections, and money, and believes she doesn’t.
Still, on it, she had declared war on her ex, saying their fight will be a power for the power of aura for aura. Daniels made it clear that she doesn’t regret anything, as her marriage to Ned was a path she was meant to take, but not her ultimate destination.
