Nigerian politician Senator Ned Nwoko is prioritising his children amidst his marital issues with his his wife, Regina Daniels.
On his Instagram page, he shared a video of himself spending quality time with his kids as he took them to the grand finale of the Senate President’s U-18 Unity Football Championship, Renewed Hope Edition.
The Delta State senator said he was there with his children to support their young talents and to reinforce the importance of grassroots sports development. He added that the passion and skills they witnessed on the field reminded them that these young players are truly the pride of their nation.
“We had an exciting afternoon at the Grand Finale of the Senate President’s U-18 Unity Football Championship, Renewed Hope Edition. A week ago, Ned had shared a video of himself engaging in sports with all his children, including Regina’s two boys. The Senator representing Delta State said moments like these reminded him of the importance of staying active, fostering strong family bonds, and leading by example.
In a recent interview with NAN, the politician explained that he wants Regina to go to rehab to be alive and healthy, not just for himself, but for their children. He said he wants the actress to raise their kids in a sane and healthy environment and slammed her siblings and friends for sabotaging the process and enabling her drug use.
Kemi Filani reported that Nwoko, in a public statement, alleged that Regina’s siblings and her colleagues, such as Sonia and Uche Montana, defied his instructions to rehabilitate Regina. He said they would come to the house uninvited, sometimes forcing their way in, and would bring her the same drugs she was being treated for.
Responding to his claims, Regina pointed out the irony in which Ned wanted her to go to rehab, when in reality, he was the one cheering on her to get high, because it made her sexier, wild and romantic. She told him to tell the world how he always forced himself on her, lock her up, seize her phones, and suddenly declare her mentally unstable the moment she says she no longer wants to be in the relationship.
