Renaissance World Tour: Beyoncé adds date for second Houston tour at NRG Stadium, performing September 23-24

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Pay attention to all the members of the BeyHive: your odds of seeing Beyoncé perform in your hometown here in Houston have improved for her upcoming world tour.

After announcing its Renaissance World Tour on Wednesday — its first tour in five years — Ticketmaster has already added a second show in Houston to its slate of tour dates.

Now, the music icon will be performing at NRG Stadium for two days in a row on September 23rd and 24th.

Fans who can’t get enough can catch Beyoncé in Dallas two days before her first show in Houston, where she’ll perform at the AT& T Stadium on September 21.

Additional shows also added in Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Englewood, California; and Washington, DC

Tickets for the World Tour will go on sale Monday, February 6th. BeyHive members will enjoy an exclusive pre-show, while other fans can register now using Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan technology.

All eyes are on Ticketmaster as ticket sales approaches. Fans fear another meltdown of Taylor Swift’s scale by the company.

The high demand forced Ticketmaster to take measures to avoid another disaster.

In November 2022, the company was forced to cancel sales of Swift’s upcoming tour after the site crashed during the pre-sale. Even Congress has been engaged in a bipartisan commission examining widespread outages and hours-long wait times.

In order to make things smoother with Beyoncé’s tour, Ticketmaster said they’re implementing rolling dates for ticket sales depending on the city, rather than putting tickets for all shows on sale at once.

However, if you want a ticket, you must register as an authorized fan — a lottery process that determines who gets an access code for the sale and who gets put on a waiting list.
