Nigeria midfielder Raphael Onyedika could be on the move this winter, with reports indicating that the Super Eagles star is edging closer to a transfer to Turkish giants Galatasaray, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 24-year-old has been one of Nigeria’s standout performers at the ongoing AFCON 2025, catching the eye with his impressive performance, especially his eye for goal.

Most notably, with a quick-fire brace against Uganda in the group stage, which has piqued the interest of many top teams watching the tournament.

Onyedika set to join Osimhen at Galatasaray

Reports from Africafoot indicate that Club Brugge and Galatasaray have reached a deal for the transfer of Raphael Onyedika.

The Belgian champions had initially valued the Nigerian international at €25 million, but that figure has reportedly been reduced to €23 million, a fee Galatasaray are expected to settle in the coming days.

A long-term target for the Turkish giants, Onyedika now appears set to team up with fellow Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen in Istanbul.

Additional reports claim the 24-year-old could complete the move during the winter transfer window, with negotiations ongoing over a four-year contract, which includes an option for an extra year.

The former Midtjylland midfielder is also tipped to earn around €1 million annually at the Istanbul-based club.

Five minutes later, he was on the scoresheet again in the 67th minute, capitalising on another assist from the Fulham loanee to complete a rapid brace.

The goals not only sealed Nigeria’s victory but also showcased Onyedika’s growing confidence in advanced areas — from which that now appears to have convinced Galatasaray to finally make their move.
