RHOA Reunion Chaos—Kenya Wasn’t Invited, Brit Eady Didn’t Show, and Bravo’s Receipts Got Everybody Shook
Whew, Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion season is here, and baby—it’s already more chaotic than a wig tug in season 6. But this time, the real mess didn’t happen at the reunion—it’s what didn’t go down that’s got the entire Bravo world shook.
Let’s start with the absence heard ‘round the Peachtree: Kenya Moore—yes, Gone With the Wind fabulous Kenya—was not invited to film the reunion. And Brit Eady? She said, “Thanks but no thanks,” and skipped the whole thing.
What. Is. Going. On?
According to Media Take Out, the drama actually stems from an explosive scandal that’s been brewing for months. Remember when Kenya Moore allegedly showed an explicit photo of Brit Eady at her salon opening, just to be petty and messy in true Housewives form? Well, it turns out… that photo wasn’t even Brit.
Yep. According to insiders, Bravo did a full-scale investigation and found out that the image in question was actually a screenshot from an ad*lt film—and not one starring Brit Eady. Which means Kenya came to the salon opening with a whole p*rno printout, thinking she had the ace card, and played herself instead. Somebody cue the clown music.
This bombshell news was reportedly dropped on Brit right before reunion filming, and sis was like, “Oh you thought I was coming? Nah.” She tapped out.
And Kenya? Media Take Out was told that she wasn’t even invited in the first place. (We’re guessing Bravo was still sorting out the fallout and trying to avoid turning the reunion into a live courtroom episode.)
But here’s where it gets even juicier: despite the scandal, Bravo is now all but certainly bringing Kenya back next season. Apparently, their internal investigation cleared her enough to justify a return, and let’s be real—Kenya is good TV. The mess, the shade, the villain arc with occasional vulnerability? She’s basically essential RHOA DNA at this point.
But what about Brit? Oh, Brit’s not done. Media Take Out has learned that she’s hired a lawyer and is gearing up to sue both Bravo and Kenya Moore. She’s ready to pull the legal trigger unless Bravo hands her a fat contract to return next season. But baby… that lawsuit might be dead on arrival.
Why? Because Bravo’s cast contracts are mess-proof. Media Take Out has reviewed multiple contracts from Atlanta housewives and they include ironclad clauses that prevent Housewives from suing Bravo or each other for defamation as long as the cameras are rolling. That’s right—on this show, if someone calls you a lying snake with a fake butt and a secret baby, you pretty much have to take it with a glass of champagne and a confessional.
And to make things even trickier for Brit: she reportedly claimed online that the explicit image Kenya posted was of her when she was underage. But now we know the image wasn’t even her. That means Brit may have opened herself up to more drama than she thought, from Kenya’s lawyers.
At this point, the reunion might as well have been filmed in an empty room with a boom mic and a bottle of Peach Ciroc. But don’t worry, Season 16 is already shaping up to be fire. Porsha’s back. Phadre’s back and now it looks like Kenya’s back too.
Now all we need is Nene to stroll in with a “So Nasty, So Rude” clutch and Shereé to pretend her joggers are still launching “next spring,” and we’ve got ourselves a vintage RHOA revival.
