It was the gathering of Nollywood stars at their colleague, Chizzy Alichi’s child dedication.
Kemi Filani reported on May 7th, Chizzy had announced the birth of her baby boy via her Instagram page. She described the experience as the most difficult time in her life as she recounted her pregnancy ordeal. She said she prayed, joined online prayers, paid tithes to different churches and more.
On Sunday, the actress and her husband, Chike Mbah, dedicated their son to God in front of their family and friends. The couple threw a lavish dedication reception, attended by many of the actress’s colleagues.
In attendance were Rita Dominic, Nasty Blaq, Charles Okocha, Peggy Ovire, Nancy Isime, Medlin Boss, Uche Elendu, and others.
Following the birth of her son, Chizzy had blessed her fans with an adorable video of some of her colleagues’ and friends’ reactions to her pregnancy news. In the video were the likes of Patience Ozokwor, Kanayo Kanayo, Kiekie, Nancy Isime, Mercy Johnson, Empress Njamah, Rachael Okonkwo, and more.
In her her caption, Chizzy described the pregnancy reveal as a sweet and emotional moment as she expressed her love for them.
Speaking about her postpartum anger, the first time revealed that when she is angry, rather than pour her anger on her mother, mother-in-law, sister or aunty, she pours it on her husband. She admonished her gënder to marry a kind.
Last year, Chizzy Alichi and her husband celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. Chizzy revealed that after God, having a good partner is the best thing that can happen to anybody. The Asaba actress stated that God gave her the best gift in the form of a husband, and she was forever grateful.
