Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has congratulated the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on his 58th birthday (today), describing him as a leader whose commitment to public service continues to produce visible and measurable results.
The governor conveyed the goodwill message in a statement he personally signed in Port Harcourt on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Fubara said Rivers State is proud of the former governor of the state, particularly for the level of infrastructural development recorded in Abuja since his assumption of office as FCT minister.
According to him, Wike’s stewardship in the nation’s capital has continued to attract national attention due to the scale and impact of ongoing and completed infrastructure projects.
Speaking on behalf of his family and the people of Rivers State, Fubara described the celebration as significant, noting that it comes at a period when Wike’s leadership in the FCT is being widely acknowledged.
He noted that Wike’s sterling qualities have translated into positive and unprecedented contributions to the development of the FCT, especially in the expansion of public infrastructure and the improvement of service delivery.
