Rivers: Why Tinubu Cannot Resolve Wike, Fubara’s Fight – Pastor Ibiyeomie

David Ibiyeomie 1

The General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has declared that President Bola Tinubu cannot resolve the power tussle between the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, despite trying every possible means.

Naijaonpoint reports that Ibiyeomie, while addressing members of his congregation in a viral video, said Wike and Fubara’s fight is not a physical problem.

According to Ibiyeomie, no mortal man can stop the conflict between Wike and Fubara, stressing that only God can end the political feud.

The clergyman further recalled how former Governor of Rivers State, Peter Odili, fought his benefactor, Rufus Ada George; Chibuike Amaechi fought Peter Odili, who helped him become governor.

He stressed that Wike battled Amaechi and is currently facing the same fate with Fubara

Ibiyeomie noted that the same scenario would play out should Fubara decide to pick a successor after his tenure.

He said, “Because if God speaks to me, I will say it. No mortal man, I repeat, can solve the problem of Rivers State. No mortal man. It’s not a physical problem.

“Has the President been able to solve it? No. I will give you a story so you can understand. I’m a man of God. Ada George was a governor and Peter Odili was under him. Odili fought him.

“Amaechi was Odili’s boy; Amaechi fought him. Wike was Amaechi’s boy; Wike fought him. Sim was the boy to Wike and they are fighting. It can never be solved by any physical man, except by the hand of God.

“This is because it’s not a physical problem. Even if Sim picks somebody today, the person will fight him. It’s a spiritual problem. They have tried all means, even the President, and have not been able to solve the problem.”
