One of the founders of the Rolling Loud Festival says that he’s been offering Drake a headlining spot but that the Canadian rapper has been “ducking” him.
Tariq Cherif appeared as a guest on Big Boy’s Neighborhood to promote the upcoming Rolling Loud LA and when he was asked whether there’s an artist they would like to recruit for the lineup that they haven’t had yet…he answered with the quickness.
Tariq Cherif, the head of Rolling Loud, revealed that Drake has turned down the festival multiple times.
Cherif also said he offered Drake to headline all three nights of Rolling Loud, to which he declined.

“I’ll say it. I don’t care,” Cherif responded. “I feel like Drake’s ducking us.”
Cherif continued, “I got no beef with Drake. I like Drake, I feel like he’s a great artist. We’ve been trying to book him forever. We even offered Drake three nights of Drake once. They were like, ‘You need to make a special.’ Like, ‘All right, three nights of Drake.’ He’d be the headliner for three nights.”
It’s unclear as to why Drake is avoiding the popular music festival but Cherif is hoping the “God’s Plan” rapper will accept his offer.
