Rosie O’Donnell has responded to President Donald Trump’s threat to deport her from the country.
Over the weekend, Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, that he was giving “serious consideration” to revoking O’Donnell’s citizenship, claiming she “is not in the best interests” of the U.S.
“She is a threat to humanity and should remain in the wonderful country of Ireland, if they want her,” he wrote.
The actor and comedian was quick to clap back.
“I’m everything you fear. A loud woman, a queer woman, a mother who tells the truth, an American who got out of the country before you set it ablaze. You are everything that is wrong with America—and I’m everything you hate about what’s still right with it,” O’Donnell captioned a picture of Trump standing alongside convicted p*dophile, Jeffrey Epstein.
“You want to revoke my citizenship? Go ahead and try, King Joffrey with a tangerine spray tan,” concluded O’Donnell.
Trump has shared many times that he is considering revoking citizenship for Americans, even those who are native-born U.S. citizens under the Fourteenth Amendment.
