Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has expressed gratitude amid her husband, Olakunle Churchill’s reconciliation with his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh.
Kemi Filani reported during the weekend that Dikeh shocked many when she extended an olive branch to her ex-husband, Churchill. She revealed that after ten years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in.
Immediately after her statement, Rosy, had shared a new photo of herself, declaring herself Queen of all Queens. This had earned her massive backlash on social media.
Taking to her Instagram page, Rosy shared a photo of herself with the caption, ‘Grateful ‘.
While giving a testimony at Pastor Jerry Eze’s church, she said she went through ten years of war, loneliness and shame, and her son not knowing his father, but God restored it in just one day.
Speaking out, Churchill said he was pleasantly surprised when he received a call from his son, King Andre, for the first time. Churchill said hearing him call “Daddy” was deeply touching and a reminder that what God can’t do doesn’t exist. The businessman expressed gratitude to Tonto, calling her the amazing mother of his son for doing a good job.
Refreshing your memory, Tonto got married to Churchill in 2015, but like most marriages, it ended after two years.
Tonto cited domestic violence and irreconcilable differences, which, Churchill publicly denied.
In 2022, Churchill, issued her a cease-and-desist letter for defaming his character and that of his wife. The letter noted how Tonto had published falsehoods against Churchill and his wife, claimed that she had sponsored their wedding, labelled Rosy a husband snatcher, and accused him of being a deadbeat father.
Tonto responded to the accusations by alleging that the accuser was mentally unstable and that the lawsuit had no basis.
