Sam Asghari, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, threw some shade Kevin Federline’s way as the father of Spears’ two sons was busy promoting his upcoming memoir.
TMZ caught up with Asghari, who was married to Spears from 2022 to 2024, asking him about the book.
“Well, he was a professional father so [it will] be the first book that’ll tell you how to be a professional father,” he responded.
Federline tied the knot with the pop singer back in 2004 before divorcing in 2007.
He recently announced his upcoming tell-all book, You Thought You Knew, spilling the tea on his past relationship with Spears and his life raising their sons.
“This book is extremely intimate and transparent. I achieved my biggest dreams, dealt with crushing heartbreak, and endured constant ridicule, all while becoming the father my children needed as they experienced nonstop emotional turbulence,” Federline says of the book, which drops October 21. “If you’ve ever had questions, you’ll find answers here.”
Federline once received $20,000 a month in child support from Spears until November 2024. Fans are seeing this as another money grab now that she no longer has to financially support him.
