English Premier League club Tottenham could attempt to sign Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.
Tottenham have been badly hit by injuries this season. Most of their senior players have been out of action since last year, making coach Ange Postecoglou rely on youth talents. That has had a bad effect on them, as they have lost eight of their last 14 games across all competitions.
In the January transfer window, the Lilywhites were expected to sign some players to help stop their poor run. But they signed only Mathys Tel and Antonin Kinsky. However, they were linked with many players across Europe
According to Last Word on Spurs, Tottenham wanted to sign one of Jamie Gittens or Chukwueze looking in the summer. But the deal did not go through.

Aside from Spurs, Fulham were also interested in signing Chukwueze from AC Milan in the January transfer window. But the transfer fell through.
Tottenham could still sign Samuel Chukwueze by the end of the season
Chukwueze is having a torrid time at AC Milan as his game time has dropped significantly in recent weeks.
Before the close of the January transfer window, there were already talks that the Super Eagles star was not in Paulo Fonseca’s plans, but he chose to stay at the club.
As it stands, it does not seem like Chukwueze’s fortunes will improve significantly by the end of the season. Hence, he might be open to leaving AC Milan for another club by the summer.
With this, Spurs could still attempt to sign Chukwueze by the end of the season to add some quality to their forward line.
AC Milan could demand up to €25 million from Tottenham and that is a decent price for the Lilywhites.
