Many detainees were paraded across the city in caged trucks before being taken to the Asadabad police station.
Locals reported injuries and beatings during the arrests, with cries and shouting heard from inside the station. Families gathered outside in distress, seeking information about their loved ones, many of whom remain unaccounted for.
