Security Man Defiles 13 Year Old Girl Inside Uncomplicated Building in Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects in separate cases of child def!lement, including one involving a 13-year-old girl allegedly ass@ulted by a security man inside an uncompleted building.

According to a press release issued on Tuesday by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the two cases were transferred to the Gender Unit of the State Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation.

He added that medical evidence has reportedly been secured to support prosecution, noting that both suspects were scheduled to be charged to court on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Giving further details of the suspects’ actions, the Police Spokesman said one of the cases, which was transferred from the 3-3 Police Division on August 14, involves one ThankGod Damian, a security operative working in an estate.

According to him, preliminary investigations reveal that Damian allegedly lured a 13-year-old girl into an uncompleted building within the estate and forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of her, leaving her in pool of bl00d.

In a separate incident reported on August 8 and transferred from CPS Onitsha, one Emmanuel Sampson of Odoakpu, Onitsha, allegedly lured his neighbor’s 8-year-old daughter under the guise of offering her food, before allegedly having unlawful carnal knowledge of her.

While condemning the two incidents, the Anambra State Police Command reiterated its commitment to ensuring justice for victims of s£xual and gender-based violence. The Command also urged parents and guardians to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour or incidents to the nearest police station for swift action.

“These cases are being handled with utmost seriousness, and we are determined to secure justice for the victims,” SP Ikenga stated.
