Seven-time UEFA Europa League winners Sevilla have made a decision over Super Eagles striker Akor Adams following interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 25-year-old joined Los Nervionenses just over a year ago from HSC Montpellier for €5.5m, but his first six months didn’t go well.
Adams failed to score a goal in his first five months in Spain. He played just four league games, due to a muscle problem that saw him miss eleven games.
However, this season has been fruitful for the former Sogndal striker as he’s scored six goals and provided three assists in all competitions for Matias Almeyda’s men.

Sevilla set Akor Adams’ price tag
Akor Adams was one of Nigeria’s standout performers at the AFCON 2025 tournament, scoring two goals and providing two assists in seven games for the Super Eagles.
His brilliant display in Morocco has catapulted him to the world, and Saudi Pro League sides have enquired about the availability of the Benue-born centre-forward.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Sevilla decided to increase Akor Adams’ selling fee to €30m, a figure that reflects his impact since he put his injury problems behind him.
The report revealed that Akor has caught the attention of several clubs in Saudi Arabia and other countries.
However, despite growing interest, Sevilla are in no hurry to sell Akor Adams, and while Saudi clubs have shown interest, the player is unwilling to leave for a ‘secondary’ league, as he wishes to further his development in Europe.
Still, the one-time UEFA Super Cup winners are looking to balance their financial books, and as such, they could be forced to sanction sales if a tempting offer arrives.
As per Ficherio, Sevilla have designed a contingency plan in case Akor moves on. The Spanish side will be keen to welcome Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri back to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
En-Nesyri is looking to leave Fenerbahce before the close of the January transfer window, and the Turkish club are willing to part ways with the former Sevilla striker after an unfruitful spell that cost them €19.5m eighteen months ago.
However, the entire situation might have to wait until the summer to be resolved properly. Akor Adams only wants a move to a bigger club in Europe, but Sevilla are looking to avoid sinking into financial troubles.
