The movie industry came out in large numbers to celebrate their colleagues, Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe, on their triplets’ thanksgiving.
Kemi Filani reported that the couple, who have been excitedly counting down to their triplets’ big day, on Wednesday shut down Lagos for their bundles of joy.
As expected, Nollywood stars turned up in style to celebrate with the parents.
Present at the party were Billionaire Shade Okoya and her son, Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Omowunmi Dada, Bimbo Thomas, Samuel Folagade Banks, Kazim Adeoti, Woli Agba, Ronke Oshodi, Jide Kosoko, Waje, Stan Nze and wife Blessing Obasi, Veekee James and husband, Isbae U, Usman, Jide Awobona, Mide Martins, Bukky Wright, Foluke Daramola, Juliana Olayode, Imisi, Odunlade Adekola, Kiekie, Habibat Jinad, Enioluwa, Eniola Ajao, Kamo State, Egungun, Itele, Iya Rainbow, Yinka Quadri, Kemity, Folorunsho Ademola, Eniola Badmus, Yetunde Barnabas, and a host of others.
Refreshing your memory, in May the couple announced the birth of their triplet boys. Lateef shared a video of Bimpe holding their ultrasound, saying that God had given him more than he had prayed for, as his wife is now a mother of three boys.
On May 7th, they held a low-key naming ceremony at their residence in Lekki, Lagos. The couple kept things low-key and invited only close friends and family. Spotted at the ceremony were Jide Awobona, Ibrahim Yekini ‘Itele’ and his wife, and Omowunmi Dada.
At the ceremony, Lateef and Bimpe chose Omowunmi Dada as the godmother of their triplets and Ibrahim Yekini as the godfather. Omowunmi shared the news on her Instagram story, including clips from the naming.
Following the naming ceremony, Lateef and Bimpe released a statement announcing their triplets’ names: Rahman, Raheem, and Rakeeb. He announced that in July, a big celebration and Thanksgiving party will be held for everyone to witness God’s goodness.
