It seems there is a feud between music star Davido’s baby mamas, Sophia Momodu and Laplubelle, as the former has unfollowed the latter.
Kemi Filani reported on Wednesday that Imade Adeleke had turned 10. To celebrate her birthday, Sophia shared photos of her daughter dressed up as an Arabian princess.
That same day, Laplubelle, Hailey Adeleke’s mother, shared photos from Hailey’s 8th birthday party in Senegal. Some photos she shared online included Davido, who surprised their daughter at her pyjama birthday bash.
Hours after the photos went viral, Sophia pulled the plug on her by unfollowing her on Instagram. A look at Sophia’s Instagram page shows she doesn’t follow her again, while Laplubelle still follows Sophia.

Sophia is currently in a bitter custody battle with her famous baby daddy. In June, last year, Davido filed a lawsuit, demanding joint custody of Imade as he claimed Sophia was denying him access to her and was extorting money from him, which she denied. A week later, she had opposed his joint custody battle, citing the death of his son, among others, as reasons the singer is unfit to raise their daughter on his own.
Recall that things turned sour between Davido and Sophia after the singer publicly declared love for his now wife, Chioma Rowland, and reunited with her. This left Sophia infuriated, and she shared a post about a cat not taking rubbish from a dog. She later went on an extensive rant, accusing him of financially abusing her.
She had also shared a screenshot of an emotional chat between her daughter and her grandmother, where she expressed heartbreak over her brother, Ifeanyi’s death, and her father’s neglect, which had caused her profound sadness.
