Big Brother Naija’s former housemate Angel Smith has sparked reactions with a recent video of her and a mystery lady.
The reality star, via her social media account, posted loved-up videos of herself as a lady, which Kemi Filani identified as British-Nigerian rapper and singer, Oluwafisayo Isa better known as Darkoo. In the clip, Angel and Darkoo are captured in a deep, touchy hug.

Angel wouldn’t be the first lady on earth to fully accept her sexuality.
A Nigerian assistant professor at Pennsylvania State University, Uju, Anya, had gotten engaged to her lesbian partner. The assistant professor made the news on Twitter by posting a clip of the proposal, which happened in the presence of her and her partner’s children.
Similarly, popular Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Christian Fellowship president Pastor Jimmy wed his male lover in the UK. Photos from his wedding ceremony made rounds online, leaving social media users talking.
Last year, veteran actor Yemi Solade reacted to the heavy backlash he received over his loved-up video with his male colleague Apa. Many had accused the actors of promoting and influencing gay scenes in Nollywood, and he had responded to a troll with insults.
In October, Dieko Afolayan, the son of Nollywood filmmaker Kunle Afolayan sparked reactions after he shared a video of himself showing off his looks he held on to a lady’s bag and behaved femininely, showing off his car working skills.
In 2023, there was uproar on social media over a viral photo of Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s son, Oseloka. The young lad, who is a Hollywood actor, was featured in a gay publication which left many questioning his sexuality. While some defended his father, others dragged the Labour Party presidential candidate for raising a gay son.
