On-air personality Tolu Oniru Demuren, aka Toolz, has tackled a netizen who advised men to stay alive after expressing shock over the appearance of late actor Jnr Pope’s wife, Jennifer, following her husband’s death.
Naijaonpoint reports that a video of Jennifer and actress Mercy Johnson, all dressed and stepping out for a function, surfaced on 𝕏.
While some people appreciated that Jennifer looked good, a netizen identified as Obiasogu David left a comment under ... stating that Jennifer had moved on already, barely a year after her husband’s death. He went on to advise men to ensure that they do not die young.
The netizen wrote, “She’s looking so stunning, casually handling an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and looking like she’s already moved on, barely 1 year after losing her husband and bearing the burden of raising three kid-boys.
“Dear men, do whatever you can not to die young, especially after newly marrying.”
However, Toolz spotted the comment and showed her displeasure with the submission.
She wrote, “Barely a year’ is actually 20 months. She should lock herself away and mourn forever? When it wouldn’t be unusual in this country for a man to have another wife within the same one year.”
Jnr Pope passed away in a boat accident while on his way to a movie set, leaving behind his wife and three boys.
