Media personality Toolz Oniru has addressed a Nigerian man who criticised the late actor Junior Pope’s wife for moving on barely a year after his demise.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday that the actor’s wife had shared a video of herself and Mercy Johnson showing off their curves as they posed for the camera.
Reacting to the video, the man identified as Obiasogu noted how she looked stunning and slammed her for already moving on. He stated that the burden of raising three kid-boys doesn’t even seem to show on her.
Defending her, Toolz noted how it’s been 20 months since the actor died and questioned if Jennifer should lock herself away and mourn him forever. She noted how men wouldn’t find it hard to get another wife within the same year.
“Barely a year is actually 20 months. She should lock herself away and mourn forever? When it wouldn’t be unusual in this country for a man to have another wife within the same year”.
Following the death of her husband, many Nollywood stars had shown support to her.
Destiny Etiko had sung her praises, describing her as the number one. She praised Jennifer for being a hardworking wife who always delivers on time.

Joining her, veteran, Rita Edochie had penned a note to her, describing her as a strong, resilient, and hard worker. She noted how Jennifer faced an unimaginable loss, but she refused to let it define her and instead, rose like a Phoenix from the ashes and has continued to shine brighter.
