Former Bad Boy rapper Shyne dropped the trailer for his upcoming Hulu documentary, The Honorable Shyne.
In the trailer, the rapper-turned-politician speaks on the 1999 shooting at a New York nightclub, which led to him serving close to 10 years in prison. He was released in 2009 and deported back to Belize.
Both rappers went to trial at the time, but Diddy was acquitted of all charges.
“I was absolutely set up to be the fall guy,” Shyne says in the trailer.

Earlier this year, Natania Reuben, the woman who was shot in the eye during the shooting involving rapper Shyne and Diddy, claimed that it was not Shyne who shot her that night but Diddy.
She also slammed Shyne, labeling him as a “con man.”
“I said on my TikTok, Shyne did not shoot me because he didn’t. But Shyne is a con artist,” she said at the time. “Everybody’s like, ‘Oh, we knew Shyne was innocent.’ No, you don’t know a damn thing because he’s far from innocent. He’s going to jockey off of me saying Shyne didn’t shoot me to try to leverage himself to get that prime minister seat […] You ain’t nothing but a penny-ante shyster, a shady car salesman, a dressed-up fraud, a liar.”
