Nigerian singer Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, professionally known as Reekado Banks, and his girlfriend have welcomed their first child.
The lovebirds welcomed their bundle of joy today, September 24th, which is the second year remembrance of his late mother.
Taking to his Instagram story, he shared a photo of his beloved mother as he noted how today makes it 2 years since she left the world but he believes she never left.
“Mother, today, 2 years ago, we said our goodbyes but I see you never left”.
In another post, he noted how 2 years later after her demise, he is leaving the hospital, with his first child. Expressing gratitude to his Maker, he wrote,
“Cos, how is it 2 years after, I’m leaving the hospital, thankful for the blessings of Fatherhood”.
In his third post, he appreciated his partner for her grit and strength, and he promised to love her forever.
“Nothing but deep appreciation to my woman for 10 months of absolute show of grit and strength. Love you forever”.

Kemi Filani reported in September 2022 that Reekado had lost his mother, Dokas Solomon. The artist shared the sad news with his fans and asked for prayers during the challenging time.
In other news, in December last year, Reekado was the center of dating rumors following a video showing him with an unidentified lady. The lady, who was dressed in a revealing two-piece outfit, was seen holding hands with Reekado Banks at various points during the night. Her appearance caught the public’s eye. The consistent proximity of the two throughout the event led many to speculate that their relationship might be more than just friendship.
Early this year, Reekado had splashed millions on 16 houses at once. The former Mavin singer, via his Snapchat page, shared a clip of him visiting his mansion which was under construction, as he revealed that he splashed millions on the 16 units so he could decide his neighbors.
