Congresswoman Nancy Mace, a member of the United States House of Representatives, has called for urgent action to stop the killings of Christians in Nigeria.
In a post on X, Mace expressed support for President Donald Trump and war secretary Pete Hegseth, saying their stance on the crisis reflects America’s commitment to defending people of faith.
She wrote: “President Trump and Secretary Pete Hegseth are right. The slaughter of Christians in Nigeria must end, and the world should know America won’t stand by while terrorists murder people of faith.”
Her statement comes amid growing international concern over persistent attacks on Christian communities in parts of Nigeria, which have sparked renewed calls for accountability and stronger security measures.
Last week, Trump tagged Nigeria a country of particular concern and accused the Nigerian government of turning a blind eye to attacks on Christians.
