“Sometimes real peace comes from staying apart” – Yul Edochie schools Nigerians as he addresses those clamouring for Psquare to reconcile

Nollywood actor and pastor Yul Edochie has addressed those clamouring for brothers and singer Peter and Paul Okoye of Psquare group to reunite.

Taking to his Instagram page, he noted how he sees people telling Peter and Paul to make peace with each other as he stated that he laughs when he sees such people still don’t understand what life is about. Yul stated that sometimes real peace comes from staying apart.

He stated that sometimes one’s family members must be blocked to achieve peace, and one has to relate with people from a distance to have peace. Edochie added that trying to close will kill you.

The talented actor added that though it is good to see Psquare together, if they have to stay apart to be happy and alive, it is best to be apart.

“I see people say Rudeboy, go & make peace with your brother, Mr P, go & make peace with your brother, I just laugh.
Many people still don’t understand what life is about.
Sometimes, real peace comes from staying apart.
Sometimes, even some family members have to be blocked to achieve peace.
Sometimes, you just have to relate with people from a distance to have peace.
Trying to be close to will kill you.
Life is short, especially for men

Small thing, man, don fall.
Too much stress.
That’s why we have many windows everywhere.
So, you have to be intentional about your life.
And life na per head.
Block anybody that needs to be blocked so you can have peace.
Don’t look back.
Fight for yourself. Stay alive.
It’s good to see Psquare together.
But if they have to stay apart to be happy and alive for us, let them stay apart.
We love them together”.

It is no longer news that Psquare has fallen out again because of the joint funds being diverted by their elder brother, Jude Okoye.

In an interview, he opened up on his relationship with his twin brother, recounting how Peter got him and their older brother, Jude Okoye, arrested by the commission in December 2023. Luckily for him, after a thorough investigation conducted by the commission, he was declared innocent of all the allegations levelled against him.

Addressing Paul’s interview on Monday, Peter debunked the claims as he stated that he only filed a petition with the commission against their elder brother after discovering he was diverting their money into a secret account which he shared with his wife. He made it known that he never called for the arrest of his twin brother.

Many celebrities have weighed into the beef with media personality, Do2dtun noted how no family is what it seems from the outside as he questioned why people can’t just love them for what they created and not the mistakes or decisions they made.

Talent manager Paulo Okoye had called for love to lead as he expressed sadness over their split, noting how there is nothing to this life.

Activist Very Dark Man expressed how emotional he was reading the letter as he stated that the singers were his favourite and number one. He hoped that someday the brothers would settle as he noted how they are one and not two.
