Fabolous, alongside Jim Jones, Dave East, and Maino, went viral over the weekend after they dropped their “Squatters Rights Freestyle” aimed at 50 Cent.

The spark came after 50 Cent poked fun at the crew online, circulating audio that appeared to mock the idea behind the freestyle’s title.

“These dudes are straight up squatters,” he wrote on Instagram earlier this month, claiming they owe $250,000 for the space where they film their podcast. ... included a thumbnail of the show, an AI-generated definition of “squatters,” and a headline alleging Jim Jones lost his home to foreclosure. “They out here chasing best dressed awards and still can’t cover their bills,” he added.

Rather than letting the joke slide, Fabolous answered in rhyme taking aim at 50 Cent’s catalog.

“Them window shoppers ain’t really gon’ cop nada,” he rapped, before following up with, “This blick like a ‘Magic Stick,’ your top voila.”

Fab’s most provocative bar nodded to Power, the hit series executive produced by 50, tying it into long-standing personal drama involving Daphne Joy.

Despite the verbal jabs, Fab ended on a reflective note, stepping back from the back and forth. “How is these grown a– men acting childish?” he asked.
