In the latest episode From Inside Star Citizen, Cloud Imperium Games revealed some new content coming to Klescher Prison as well as the Kareah Security Center.
As the developers revealed in a brief interview with Jared Huckaby, Star Citizen’s Klescher Prison will receive a content update, which will add new missions and tasks for the inmates to either shorten their sentences or earn some cash while serving time.
With the improvement of the new prison content, you will be able to continue your criminal activities in the prison by killing and looting other NPC prisoners. If you loot something of value, it will help you shorten your prison term, but only if you can keep the bodies of your victims away from the guards.
Aside from killing NPCs, you’ll also be able to find random loot that falls to the ground in the prison’s mining caves, including melee weapons. The developers did not reveal whether or not you will be able to kill the guards with melee weapons.
Last but not least, the prison will also receive a completely new mission, with which you will be able to contact an unknown entity in a certain part of the prison caves. If you perform any task that you receive from the entity, you will be rewarded generously.
By moving to the Kareah Security Center, the developers plan to expand the opportunities within this structure into something more than erasing CrimeStat. Creeh Village will be heavily guarded by the Crusader Industries forces, with more towers outside the security post to avoid unauthorized landings.
While this makes sneaking into ... more difficult, the risk is actually worth it as you’ll be able to find many valuable loot, including drug-specific contraband inside the Security Center. Also, you will still be able to hack Kareah systems and erase CrimeStat.
The interesting part of the Kareah raid is the fact that whenever a PU player decides to storm Kareah, the other legitimate players on the server will receive a task to eliminate the intruder. The reward for this job ranges from 50k to 100k in Australia, which is huge. So, the Kareah raid will actually launch a PvP chance on the server, which is the main objective of this optimization.
