As it turns out, her sister is apparently already on the government’s payroll, and is eager to help keep her wayward sister in check. What little fans know about Aphra’s sister so far suggests a far from close relationship.
Up until this point, no mention has been made in Star Wars canon of Aphra having a sister, meaning this is a major addition to her story. The revelation of Aphra’s sibling highlights how much of her backstory remains unknown, the details waiting to be mapped out; it also changes the trajectory of her future.
In her own right, Aphra is, by far, the most significant addition to the Star Wars galaxy Marvel has made in the past ten-plus years, and now it is clear they’re prepared to take her in a new direction. It is fair to expect that her sister will be a complicating factor in her heroic arc.

The cover for Doctor Aphra – Chaos Agent #5 features the protagonist and another previously unidentified female character, who it now seems is Aphra’s sister, “Dellen.” It should be noted that Marvel did a commendable job of preserving this twist in the synopsis for Chaos Agent #5, which hints at the previous issue’s reveal without giving it away.
According to the synopsis:

Now, it is known that this is Dellen, and most readers would agree that this was a major surprise. Aphra’s position in Star Wars canon just became more complex, and fans are eager to learn more about her sister, who could potentially be another character that can make a major impact on Star Wars history.
