Suge Knight is weighing in once again on Sean “Diddy” Combs’s sex trafficking trial and says that he thinks the disgraced music mogul should take the stand to testify in his defense.
“He might be stupid sometimes, but he’s not dumb. If they give Puffy the opportunity to humanize himself, it’ll be the best thing for the culture of Hip Hop. It’ll be one of the biggest power moves of the U.S.,” Suge said during an appearance on Aubrey O’Day’s podcast.
Diddy has not named any names and has denied all allegations against him, but Suge, who is also currently behind bars, thinks he should “cut a deal” with prosecutors.
“Cut the deal first. Get a situation where wherever you say on the stand, they use against you. When you get on that stand, fix Hip Hop, fix the culture of our people,” he added.
Diddy is currently facing federal charges related to a sex trafficking and racketeering investigation. He was arrested and indicted in September 2024 and has been held in custody since then. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges
