THE Super Eagles camp in Rabat, Morocco was almost full tonight, three days to their World Cup play-offs clash with Gabon.
The three-time African champions take on the Panthers in the first semi-final of the continental play-offs in the Moroccan capital on Thursday.
Eight more players joined the 10 that reported at the Rive Hotel camp yesterday, bringing the total as at 11pm to 18.
Among the players to join up with the squad today were Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman and Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.
Others were Ethiopia-based goalkeeper Amos Obasogie, Sevilla pair Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke as well as Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika and England-based defender Bright Osayi-Samuel.
Three players, including Galatasaray striker and team talisman Victor Osimhen, were still being expected by 11.15pm.
The Super Eagles held their first training session in Rabat this evening at the Institut Royal de Formation des Cadres.
If the Super Eagles overcome Gabon, they will face either Cameroon or the Democratic Republic of Congo in the final.
The winners of the African play-offs will earn the only ticket to the six-team intercontinental play-offs in Mexico next March.
The 2026 World Cup will be co-hosted by the United States of America, Mexico and Canada in June and July.
