Nottingham Forest have two Super Eagles players in their squad, but one of them is set to join Coventry City, Soccernet.ng reports.
Coventry City are fresh off winning the English Championship, thereby sealing promotion to the Premier League. They have been in the market for players who can help them in their first season in the top flight.
They have already signed players like Amenda Aurele, Caleb Yirenkyi, Carl Rushworth, and Nigerian midfielder Frank Onyeka.
However, they are set to complete the signing of another Nigerian in what is their marquee transfer of the summer.
This comes as transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the club has agreed on terms with Nottingham Forest for the signing of Taiwo Awoniyi.

Awoniyi will join the Sky Blues in a permanent transfer, with medicals already ongoing as of the time of this report.
Just three days ago, he was in action for the Tricky Trees as they defeated Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 in a pre-season friendly. But apparently, that will be his last game in a Nottingham Forest shirt.
