This initiative begins with DC publishing two facsimile editions in January and February: Treasury Edition 50th Anniversary of Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man #1 and DC and Marvel Present: Superman and Spider-Man Treasury Edition #1. It will then continue with two new crossover issues, DC’s Superman/Spider-Man #1 in March and Marvel’s Spider-Man/Superman #1 in April.

According to the press release, the partnership’s purpose is to honor the past while pushing comic book storytelling into a bold future.
