There was a strange incident at the Central Mosque in Auchi, Edo State, as honey bees reportedly invaded the mosque premises, forcing worshippers to flee and halting Jumat prayers.
The event, which happened on Saturday, caused panic among the Muslim faithful.
A Facebook user, Emeka Gift Official, shared the incident in a post accompanied by a photo showing a man appearing to struggle on the pavement, presumably escaping the bee attack. Scattered slippers and deserted surroundings indicate the chaos that unfolded.
According to Emeka’s post, the bees did not allow anyone to observe the prayers, leading many to wonder what might have triggered the unusual invasion. “Things are happening every day,” he added,
