Taiwan maintains a strong supply chain in the global bicycle industry and is a key location for the production and R&D of high-end bicycles. In 2021, Taiwan’s bicycle industry exports surpassed a record $5 billion, showing how the industry is thriving. According to Chang, in the future, manufacturers will focus more on the needs of users, including digital connectivity and environmental awareness. “Furthermore, the new mission is to become an even more valuable partner by providing better services,” said the secretary-general of the Taiwan Bicycle Association.
