Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has been named the PFA Community Champion at Nottingham for the 2024/25 season, Soccernet.ng reports.
Awoniyi is coming off a torrid campaign at Nottingham Forest. He had to play second fiddle to Chris Wood for the entire campaign and had to deal multiple injuries. The former Union Berlin man only managed just one goal in 26 appearances for the Tricky Trees.
However, amid all the challenges, Awoniyi still did some good.
