When Kendrick Lamar dropped ‘GNX’ fans expected the album to feature his smash Drake diss track, “Not Like Us” but it did not.
On X, formerly Twitter, a fan asked TDE cofounder Punch why K.Dot decided to leave the single off the album despite its huge success.
“Integrity. That record was for the battle. The album was a separate thing. Could have put it on there to boost overall sales but [chose] to leave it for what it was. Integrity,’ he tweeted in response.
