Nigerian technology expert Erica Arubayi-Ifeka has unveiled plans to empower more women in the technology sector, drawing from her 12-year experience across energy, banking, retail, education and investment management.

The Delta State-born professional, who has worked with global organisations including Shell International, GTBank, among others, emphasised the importance of mentorship and storytelling in preparing women for leadership roles in the tech industry.

“Your brand is your promise to the world. It’s not just about credentials; it’s about how you show up and the impact you create,” Arubayi-Ifeka said in a statement.

Her expertise in Human Resources and Mergers & Acquisitions has seen her contribute to large-scale multi-million dollar energy projects at Shell, while also implementing technological innovations at GTBank and ARM Asset Management to enhance customer experiences.

The tech expert, who holds a BSc in Accounting, MSc in Financial Management and Marketing, BCS Business Analysis, PGC International Trade Finance and various IT certifications in Salesforce and Cyber Security, highlighted the importance of continuous learning in the ever-evolving tech landscape.
