Tee KO 2 Is The First Game Announced For Jackbox Party Pack 10

Jackbox fans will be back at Tee Shirt Island this fall, as Tee KO 2 was announced as the first game included in The Jackbox Party Pack 10. The official announcement was made during Jackbox Games’ appearance today at PAX East Show in Boston.

The five-game bundle debuted in 2004 and will be released every fall, and this year will be no different, Jackbox Games announced last month. However, no specific games for inclusion in the bundle were revealed at the time, and with news of Tee KO 2 now out, fans can still speculate about the four other games that have yet to be announced.

If you’ve never played the original Tee KO, which was introduced back in Party Pack 3 but still has a huge following, the mechanics are pretty simple. First, you’ll draw a couple of t-shirt designs, and then you’ll put in some fun slogans. Each of your designs and logos is assigned to other players, who then put together the funniest T-shirts around. The shirts go up against each other in a series of collective votes for the best of the best, and each round your shirt remains the superior garment, you rack up more points.

During a press-only event held earlier this month, the Jackbox team revealed some of the changes coming to Tee KO 2, like the addition of hoodies, a new final round, and upgraded drawing tools. “We are pleased to announce that we are adding new functionality to our suite of tools to benefit those who felt limited by the previous version,” Allard Laban, Chief Creative Officer of Jackbox, stated in a direct response to a question from DualShockers. “Players will now have access to the eraser, which will allow them to get rid of the bad parts with ease. We will strike a balance between retaining the humor and spontaneity of the game while providing the tools for users who put a little more love into their drawings.”

A successor to the popular ’90s trivia game You Don’t Know Jack, each Jackbox Party Pack contains a variety of party games that can be played from the same couch or by a group of friends spread out all over the world. Although every batch of party games is different, there are running themes included in each package, such as the inclusion of a tip-off game and a drawing game. However, last year’s Party Pack 9 contained Nonsensory, a three-round game of predicting other players’ reactions to certain phrases or images. Of those three rounds, only the second used drawing tools, and there were no other drawing games in that package.

Laban responded to DualShockers: “Tee KO is a very popular game among our players, and we’ve received an overwhelming number of requests for the sequel.” So Tee KO 2 is in the 10 Pack mostly because of the love of the community, but also because we’re trying to include at least one drawing game in every game. our package. Party Pack 8 had two drawing games while Party Pack 9 only had one drawing activity, so it’s flexible. However, we think the packs should have at least some graphic for gameplay balance and Tee KO 2 is the perfect game for Party Pack 10.”

As for other changes coming to Tee KO 2, promotional materials provided by Jackbox Games indicate that players will be able to change their designs between rounds and change the size of the font that appears on the jerseys. More announcements regarding the Jackbox Party Pack 10 – which we hope will include the four other games that will be included – are promised to keep coming through the spring and summer.
