A teenager has been charged in connection with a violent home invasion at rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Florida residence.

Authorities in Palm Beach County say the incident unfolded on Nov. 16 when three masked men allegedly forced their way into the house while at least two were armed. Investigators say the rapper’s mother was restrained outside the home as the suspects rushed inside, overturning rooms and demanding cash and car keys.

Surveillance footage reviewed by deputies reportedly shows the men swapping roles, with one suspect keeping watch over the victim while the others searched the property. The group later moved to the garage and a parked Mercedes Sprinter van, where they appeared to remove small bags before fleeing the scene.

The suspects fled after the victim alerted another family member, who called 911.

Investigators later identified 19-year-old Pedro Rodriguez as a suspect using cellphone location data. When deputies surveilled his residence, they allegedly spotted clothing similar to what was worn during the robbery. A search warrant led to the discovery of marijuana products, a firearm and ammunition, and several designer handbags that were later identified as stolen.

Rodriguez now faces multiple felony charges, including home invasion robbery and false imprisonment.
