Abuja was thrown into panic on Thursday morning after a shocking road accident near the Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Department (FEMD) in Asokoro. Watch What Happened.

One person died, and four others were rushed to the hospital after a Toyota Corolla LE suddenly lost control, leaving everyone around in fear and disbelief.

The terrifying moment happened around 10:45 am when witnesses say the car’s brakes failed. The vehicle hit three pedestrians before finally crashing into a police patrol van. Neighbors described the scene as “horrifying,” with screams and chaos filling the streets.

Among the injured are Nicholas Daduwo, a staff member of the High Court Central Area, and Ernest Nwah, a resident of Apkabio Asaka Street. Both are receiving treatment at Asokoro General Hospital, while the third victim tragically did not survive and was taken to the morgue.

As if that wasn’t enough, another accident along Kubwa Expressway left two more people injured after a speeding car rear-ended a Volkswagen Golf, sending it into a roadside gutter. Both victims are receiving medical attention.
