Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has expressed gratitude to her Maker for her family.

Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of two appreciated her Maker for the countless blessings in her life. She appreciated Him for health, wealth, and the love that surrounds her.

Iyabo also appreciated him for the people in her life—her family, loved ones, fans, and those who prayed for her from afar. She expressed gratitude for His constant presence, fighting her battles, and guiding her through life’s ups and downs.

Most of all, Iyabo appreciated God for her man and children and for constantly shining His light on them.

“Dear Lord,

I come before you with a heart full of gratitude. Thank you for every day, whether big or small, abundant or little. Your blessings are countless, and I’m thankful for health, wealth, and the love surrounding me.

Thank you for the people in my life – my family, loved ones, friends, fans and even those who pray for me from afar. I’m grateful for your constant presence, fighting my battles, and guiding me through life’s ups and downs.

Most of all, thank you for my man and children, who shine their light brightly. In your love, I find contentment and peace.

Thank you, Lord, for all you are and have done for me”.

Iyabo has many reasons to be grateful as last month, her daughter tied the knot to her Tanzanian singer boo.

The movie star also made her first cinema debut with Labake Olododo, which was a financial success.

A week ago, Iyabo slammed Tanzanian media personality Mange Kimambi over her stern warning to her daughter. Iyabo, appalled by her audacity, said that as a parent, she has taught her daughter to be confident and authentic. She made it known that she doesn’t joke with her daughter, as she warned Mange to keep her daughter out of her affairs.

In an interview with Seun Oloketuyi in March, Iyabo stated that she feels like what her children are reaping now is because of her good deeds. The proud mother of two further stated that when parents have kids early, it makes them feel young, as she noted how nobody wants to grow old.

Two years back, Iyabo shared her painful experiences of surviving as a single mother and being treated as a second-class citizen due to her failed marriage. Iyabo recounted how people called her all manner of names because of her failed marriage both in the movie industry and the world at large.
