His personal visit to the sets and his unwavering support for arts, culture and history reflect visionary leadership and a deep commitment to Ekiti’s heritage. This gesture and encouragement further strengthen our resolve and determination to deliver a world-class production that faithfully tells the story of the resilience and showcases the culture and heritage of the Ekiti people and the entire Yoruba trībe.
We are fully committed to making this historic project a resounding success.

A few weeks ago, Mo Bimpe, via her Instagram page, expressed gratitude to Lateef and the Governor. She appreciated the Governor for believing in her, trusting her with the big vision, and for his massive support. She also appreciated her husband for giving her the wings, sharing the vision with her and standing with her every step of the way.

Kemi Filani reported earlier this year that Lateef and Mo Bimpe had gotten the support of the Ekiti State Government to produce a movie on the Ekiti Parapo War. The film will capture the struggle and triumph of the Ekiti people against oppression.

Speaking on it, Lateef expressed joy at being a significant part of the revolution and thanked the Governor and his cabinet for the meeting, promising to continue telling our stories and promoting our culture.
