Rema broke the internet less than twenty-four hours ago, when a video surfaced of him in church, during a thanksgiving service.

In the video, Rema could be seen giving thanks to God, and acknowledging the fact that the church helped his family in their time of need.

Rema donated money to the infrastructure department of the church, the teenage church, and money for widows also.

The award winning singer also narrated how at the age of eight, he lost his father and everything got taken away from them. It was the church that opened a shop for mother, and from that shop, she was able to train them in school and provide for them.

Popular activist DaddyFreeze stepped into the chatroom of Rema’s monetary donation to church, and here’s what he had to say;

”NO, Rema did not GIVE to the Church; He gave BACK to the Church. When his family was going through a rough patch, the church was there for them financially. He is now returning the favor. There is a huge difference.

Why did he give to that particular church? Because when he LO$T his dad, the church opened a shop for his mum. That was part of what helped his folks put food on the table during a difficult period.

DaddyFreeze shares his opinion on Rema giving money to his church.

So unlike you going to sow your seed in
church, Rema is taking part of his ‘Harvest’ to those who sowed their seed in him.

As far as I’m concerned he should even give
them more. God bless the pastor that sowed
into his family.”

The crux of DaddyFreeze’s take on Reman giving money to the church is that it wasn’t a tithe, but a return of favor because the church helped his family in their time of need.

DaddyFreeze has expressed his distaste over people giving tithe in church over the years, and he has stood his ground on the matter.
