The Game is walking back years of jaw-dropping claims about Kim Kardashian and says he is finally ready to apologize.
The rapper opened up on Club Shay Shay, telling host Shannon Sharpe that he now sees how out of line he was.
“Sometimes you wake up and choose a little violence,” he said, admitting he chased shock value and ego. “If I tried to make an excuse for my behavior, there is no excuse.”
He also revealed that Kanye West once confronted him during the West Kardashian marriage.
According to The Game, Ye called him personally and said, “I love you, but can we not ever talk about my wife again?” The rapper says he immediately agreed, joking that even though he was “bigger and stronger,” Ye was right to demand respect.
Sharpe later asked if he had ever apologized to Kim. At first, The Game shrugged it off, claiming he did not owe anyone anything because the rumors were already out there. Minutes late,r his tone shifted.
“I got a lot of love for Kris, Khloé, Kim, Kourtney,” he said, remembering their early Los Angeles days. Then he stared into the camera and said, “Kim, I’m apologetic for the way I displayed or discussed our interrelations with the public.”
The Game has claimed in the past that he has slept with three Kardashians, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Blac Chyna (the mother of Rob Kardashian’s daughter, Dream Kardashian).
